Le Moulin Brégeon
A Luxury Country Retreat in the Loire Valley, FranceHome.html

An epicurean destination, the Loire Valley is known for fine wines and a rich culinary tradition. Drawing upon this heritage, the Moulin Brégeon organizes anything from basic one-day cooking classes -- for casual cooks looking to explore French cuisine -- to intensive culinary courses with local area Michelin chefs and artisan pâtissiers. Spend your days learning about the local cuisine, including its unique wines an cheeses, organic gardening, traditional spirit distilling, and – if the season is right – truffling.

One of our most popular tours is organized by our partner, Kathryn Gordon, of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. You can find out more by visiting her website

Guests of all levels can take cooking classes from our resident chefs at the Moulin’s fully-equipped kitchens.  Advanced cooks can take specialized classes from master artisans. Above, students learn from Maitre Godineau of patisserie and chocolaterie La Duchesse Anne in Saumur.
